One year ago I was returning to the UK from a month long trip to Colombia, a little more sunkissed, with a bag full of records that i’d picked up along the way. A year later and I find myself sat at the window, eyes closed, soaking in some rare February sunshine and listening to the collection of these records you can hear above. It doesn’t feel like the Caribbean coast of Colombia in Manchester today, but it’s enough to temporarily take me back. I hope the mix of Cumbia, Afro-Latin and Salsa transports you up too.
